The Client

WY Partners is a modern M&A advisory practice that prides itself on delivering fresh perspectives and strategic insights to media and technology businesses, empowering the right financial decisions.

The Brief

The marketing team at WY Partners were looking to improve the engagement metrics and click-through rates of their newsletter, "without being too salesy". I was tasked with reviewing the past 6 months' worth of newsletters to identify what could be improved. 

​

The Result

I produced a 14-page report with notes and annotations of previous newsletters while advising on best practices to engage readers. I also provided follow-up support to review the content and assist in creating effective subject lines. 

​

Within just a couple of months of acting on my audit and implementing the changes I suggested, WY managed to increase the newsletter open rate by 10%.
