Copy Writing

The ProCopywriters alliance describes copywriters as:

“Copywriters write stuff that helps you sell. We write adverts, websites, emails and brochures – really anything that might persuade your customers to choose you. We understand how words can intrigue, attract, inspire, persuade and drive your prospects to act. People hire copywriters when they want better results from their written marketing and communications.”

If you need help with any of the following, get in touch:

  • Creating web copy

  • Crafting blog posts

  • Writing newsletters

  • Putting together press releases

  • Writing adverts

Taking Notes

I completed my journalism training with the UK's national news agency PA Media (formerly Press Association) and

currently write for a number of print and digital magazines, spanning across both B2B and B2C sectors.

I've covered a wide range of subjects, from vegan cosmetics to ball bearings (yes, ball bearings!) and have interviewed various thought leaders on a plethora of subjects.

If you need any of the following, give me a call:

  • News articles

  • Feature-length stories

  • Events coverage

  • Interview led features

Copy Editing

So you've already done the writing but you reckon it can be better? Well, you're probably right, because it can always be better.

Lucky for you, you've come to the right place.

As well as checking your copy for spelling and grammar mistakes, I'll ensure your copy is as good as it can be by assessing and optimising:

  • Clarity

  • Conciseness

  • Concept

  • Overall structure

Proof Reading

Everyone makes mistakes (yes, even copywriters) which is why it's always worth getting a second pair of eyes to read over your text.

If you've been working on something for a long time, it's all too easy to read the text that you think is there, without seeing what's really there.

So if you're working on something important, why take the risk? Give me a call and get a fresh and professional perspective.

The key difference between copy editing and proofreading is that with this service, I don't make the changes, I simply point out what can be improved.

Whilst I love seeing my name stamped on my work, I'm happy to write on your behalf and let you take all the credit.

If you simply don't have the time to write what you need to write then hiring a professional copywriter/ghostwriter is certainly one of the most time-efficient solutions.

Do you really want to rush something that's going to have your name on it? I didn't think so.
